Tales of the city

Article Abstract:

The Manchester Financial and Professional Forum has changed its name to become pro.Manchester. The organization aims to strengthen the professional community and emphasises the ability of local firms to deal with large takeovers and other operations. The region will gain deals from outside and will also lose deals to outsiders, so self-confidence is needed to accept this natural phenomenon. The region of northern England is also important, rather than the interests of Manchester as a city.
