The arguments regarding the report of the governmentEs select committee on obesity that predicted increases in obesity-related diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, arthritis and cancer, thus suggesting to control eating and increasing exercise levels, during May 2004, are presented.

An argument is presented that so-called "safe and pure" bottled water could actually be more impure and harmful than tap water. It is suggested that drinking bottled water is an unnecessary, expensive and environmentally-unfriendly habit.
