Marketing managers should strive to please CEOs to guarantee job security. Empathy sessions with CEOs involve regular visits to ascertain that the marketing department meets CEO's goals. Marketing managers should also display loyalty to the company although the latter may not be loyal to its employees. They should further be able to express their ideas clearly. Finally, marketing executives should perform consistently.
