Lighting level and productivity: A field study in the electronics industry
Article Abstract:
In an electronic factory in The Netherlands the effect of illuminance on the speed and the quality with which the workers assembled electronic devices was tested. The test revealed that increase in illumination did help productivity of the workers however it had no significant effect on the percentage of errors.

Research is presented concerning the effects of staffing levels and interface design on the overall team performance of work groups at the OECD Halden Reactor Project in Norway. The importance of workload is discussed.
