Living dangerously

Article Abstract:

Business travelers in developing countries may face a number of risks, including kidnapping, extortion and violent crime. Executives may have to travel to these countries, especially in certain sectors like energy and construction. Control Risks is a company that provides advice on risks for travelers, and can also offer help in the event of a kidnapping. Pinkerton Risk Assessment Services also offers services for travelers going to risky areas. Medical risks may also be a problem in much of Asia and Africa.
