MBL swings for PR grand slam overseas

Article Abstract:

Major League Baseball International (MBLI) is putting more emphasis on boosting growth of baseball to an international level. MBLI President Tim Brosnan, who is also tasked to promote baseball in countries abroad, noted part of the organization's PR strategy is to make people interested in baseball as a game by recruiting people from different countries to play in the big league. Showing games overseas through partnerships with broadcast companies overseas is also part of MBLI's effort to promote the game worldwide. MBLI, through the help of sponsors such as Gatorade, Mastercard and Pepsi, is also instituting a comprehensive game development initiative to develop baseball talents.
