Making the most of the Macintosh
Article Abstract:
Macintosh can be used efficiently to quickly process 3-D models, animations and graphics, but requires distributed processing to speed the work of desktop machines by making use of the system's network ability. RISC based co-processors can increase an application's performance so that once an animation has been designed, the computer can make the calculations to generate the image. Software based systems needs to take advantage of networked computer resources.
