Metrostav to repair the stadium in Pardubice
Article Abstract:
Metrostav (Prague, Czech Republic), construction company, will begin repairing the dated winter stadium in Pardubice, Czech Republic, in May 2001. At a cost of CEK 305 mil, the stadium should be changed into a modern multipurpose complex in which also musical and social events should take place. In the tender organized by the city of Pardubice Metrostav took the second position after the building company IPS (Prague, Czech Republic). However, the city and IPS did not come to agreement on the conditions of the project. The winter stadium needs to be repaired primarily because of the world ice-hockey championships of players below the age of 20 that are to be held in Pardubice and Hradec Kralove at the turn of 2001/2002.
