Machines that take credit cards are likely to be introduced, and further increases in prize limits are also likely.

The tussle for Tandem

Article Abstract:

Tandem is a bicycle company which reported a pre-tax loss of 3.37 million pounds sterling for 1996, with no improvement expected for the following year's results. The company's stock price has also dropped, and an emergency stockholders' meeting is to be held where rebel stockholders will seek to move the company away from bicycles and into horse racing. Racecourses can be purchased from funds raised by selling assets, the rebels argue, though their plans have yet to be revealed in detail.
