Quality skills
Article Abstract:
T Clarke is an electrical services contractor which was hit by the early 1990s recession. The company hung onto its skilled employees and allowed margins to drop, and this has placed it in a strong position with an increase in demand. The company has paid stockholders a special dividend and has strong cash reserves. Higher margin contracts have been achieved rather than a simple increase in volume. There are liquidity problems related to the company's stocks.
