PricewaterhouseCoopers toasts partnership with 'Merger Beer.'

Pricewaterhouse Coopers' formation as a result of the merger between Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand was celebrated by over 1,500 Los Angeles, CA, company employees with the launch of a special brew called the "Merger Beer." The Bonaventure Brewing Company of Los Angeles, a high-end restaurant and microbrewery, produced and served the signature beverage from a 12-foot long antique bar especially designed for the occasion. Pricewaterhouse Coopers is the biggest professional services organization in the world that serves local, national and global firms.

Kit helps dealers unravel marketing mysteries

Alcoa Building Products Inc.'s (ABP) "Alcoa ProKit: Everything You Need for Advertising Success" helps contractors create an advertising program. The ProKit is composed of four major sections; TV and radio along with an overview and user's guide, print advertising, logos and line art, and photos. Aside from television and radio spots, the ProKit also features two CDs with a huge collection of photos, drawings and logos. Jeff Peskowitz, ABP's director of marketing, said ProKit aims to allow contractors to focus on other parts of their business.

CD-ROM offers virtual tradeshow tour

the.NAK.Group of New York, a marketing communications agency, has developed ShowCD, a CD-ROM that employs photography, video, sound and digital graphics to make a personal computer perform like a tradeshow booth. According to Thaddeus B. Kubis, the.NAK.group's president and creative director, the program enhances the value of a business' investment in a tradeshow by allowing the exhibit to be used indefinitely. The new program offers the interactivity of multimedia coupled with the impressive feel of a tradeshow booth.
