Private, state and international public interests in space law
Article Abstract:
It is essential to determine the common interests of states and private enterprises to strengthen the law governing outer space activities. The state's role in international problems should be enhanced to integrate its interest with that of the general populace. Simultaneously, private interest can be gained by allowing self-regulation or by creating a framework based on international public interest with state and public support. This will leave no room for monopolizing on space activities. However, further development of space laws, treaties, and declarations are also required.

The new Brazilian space agency: a political and legal analysis
Article Abstract:
Brazil established the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) in 1994 after realizing that the Ministry of Aeronautics, which had previously governed all space activities, had limited access to space technology. The AEB is directly responsible to the president, affording it significant influence over Brazil's overall science policy.
