Formation of the National Productivity Network

Article Abstract:

Widespread concern about productivity in the United States has led to the formation of productivity centers. A national coordination effort is now trying to form one network from seventeen existing productivity centers. These centers represent diverse areas. These centers have been classified into three groups: human relations, management and technological. Networking is expected to help the communication between the centers. Critical issues facing this effort include motivation and the role of the federal government.
