Lambert Kamps, a 31-year old Dutch designer makes a name for himself in the unusual field of handmade inflatable art/design that supports human bodies. Kamps funds his experiments by taking on interior design projects, mostly exhibitions and special events, and tends to come up with designs that are difficult if not impossible to realize and the technique needed to make them are usually not tested before.

'Thought at Work', an event aimed at bringing newly established designers from across the country to the first ever student-led industrial design conference, is described. The event was a huge success despite meager funds, few sponsors and a somewhat quirky website.
