Pycraft profiting from losses

Article Abstract:

Pycraft and Arnold is a loss adjuster with some 67% of turnover coming from the insurance industry. The company plans to expand to a turnover of some 50 million pounds sterling which will mean acquisitions or hiring individuals with good contacts. The industry is changing in the UK as insurers reduce the number of loss adjusters they deal with and companies operating nationally are in a stronger position to benefit from these changes. Pycraft has 29 branches throughout the UK. The company forecasts a profit of 1.2 million pounds with an 8.5 million pounds turnover for 1997.
