Quicker drug approvals on the way for Europe
Article Abstract:
In mid July the European Commission proposed shortening the drug approval process in Europe to help Europe's drug companies remain competitive. The proposals include at least 15 points such as a single approval process for all member countries.

User-fee bill passes U.S. senate, but legislative hurdles remain

The U.S. Senate renewed the user fee bill for drug reviews however, there are legislative hindrances from the House members in reauthorization of the bill and demands for funding from increased direct appropriations.
