RCA Digital Entertainment Centers launched at RadioShack

Article Abstract:

RadioShack has launched an eye-catching, store-within-a-store display for a broad variety of RCA audio and video products at more than 5,000 RadioShack stores across the US. The in-store RCA Digital Entertainment Center displays were created by Trans World Marketing of East Rutherford, NJ. They provide a consumer-friendly, hands-on shopping environment for more than 100 new RCA digital entertainment merchandise, and are the culmination of a year-long effort by RadioShack Corp and RCA parent Thomson Multimedia.

Compaq creative learning centers at RadioShack

Article Abstract:

Compaq Computer Corp is introducing a store-within-a-store retail concept that will enable consumers to try out Compaq Presario Internet personal computers (PCs) and software in a user-friendly and helpful environment. The Compaq Creative Learning Center will be deployed by Radioshack at all its stores nationwide. The marketing strategy is designed to help families select a PC that is ideal for their needs especially if they are not computer experts.

Microsoft-branded kiosks debut at RadioShack

Tandy-Radio Shack has launched the Microsoft Internet Center nationwide as part of goal to become 'America's Home Connectivity Store.' Designed and produced by New York, NY-based HMG Worldwide Corp, the Microsoft Internet Centers serve as one-stop source for shoppers by allowing them to both test a variety of broadband services and subscribe to Microsoft Corp's high-speed Digital Subscriber Line service.
