Random progress and the case of the travelling salesman
Article Abstract:
A computer program is developed using the theory of random progress and trial and error concepts developed from a traveling salesman problem posed such that consistently reduced sample sizes are generated through random sales trials. The program developed should identify the optimal sales route to be taken by a traveling salesman to maximize sales for a minimal amount of traveling. The program is described step by step, and refinements of the program are described. The optimization techniques described have a wide application from sales to genetic sampling.

Management accounting: be progressive - join in the fun
Article Abstract:
Given a stable business environment, random progress can bring innovations to business practices, including accounting. Random acting is done by subordinates, so it is essential to choose progressive subordinates. An example of an innovation resulting from random actions is the discovery of penicillin by Alexander Fleming. Thus, accountants should combine their conservatism with a moderate taste for gambling.

Cool it, old timer: 'random progress' is here to stay; accountants no longer need to learn old sophisticated mathematical techniques - computers can do all this through simple trial and error
Article Abstract:
Many mathematical operations that used to be performed by the accountant can be done by computer now. Random progress, which is a trial and error approach, is an example. Application techniques are demonstrated.
