Report finds inadequate protection at atomic weapons lab

Article Abstract:

The internal Department of Energy (DOE) investigation discovered serious deficiencies at one of the major U.S. atomic weapons laboratories in protecting lab workers and the surrounding community from the effects of a nuclear accident. The team responsible for the report included a team leader from NNSA headquarters, six experts from multiple sources.

Ergonomics support for local initiative in improving safety and health at work: International Labour Organization experiences in industrially developing countries

Ergonomics has played essential roles in the technical cooperation activities of the International Labour Organization in occupational safety and health in industrially developing countries. Ergonomics support focusing on practical day-to-day needs at the grass-root workplace has strengthened the local initiative in improving safety and health.

From industrial safety to corporate health management
