Rolls Royce

Article Abstract:

Rolls Royce reported a rise in profit to 46 million pounds sterling from 3 million pounds for its aerospace activities, but this was due to a drop in spending on research of 21 million pounds and a 9 million pounds contribution from the US company, Allison. Demand for aircraft spares is not rising in line with aircraft flights, and the company also faces a difficult market for its power system products. The company's profit for full-year 1995 is forecast at 125 million pounds sterling by Societe Generale Strauss Turnbull.
