SEC rule "too draconian", Senator says

Chairman of the US Senate Committee on Banking, Phil Gramm, is not happy with the rule on auditor independence proposed by the Securities and Exchange Commission and feels it is "too draconian". Gramm believes that it is important the rule benefits the public.
