Samsung Opto-Electronics America Inc. unveils the world's smallest 35mm zoom camera called Evoca 70S. The new Evoca 70S is a fully automatic lens shutter camera that is ultra small, measuring only 4.37 inches in width, 2.40 inches in height, and 1.34 inches in diameter; and weighs seven ounces. The new product has a 35mm to 70mm power zoom, F4.5-8.5 lens. Evoca 70S also features automatic red-eye reduction, automatic flash, and different modes of shots such as panorama and landscape. The new Evoca 70S has a suggested retail price of $249.95. Secaucus, NJ-based Samsung Opto-Electronics America is the subsidiary of Seoul, Korea-based Samsung Company Ltd. in the US.
