Article Abstract:
Injured tissues in aged animals are regenerated by exposure to young serum. Serum from young mice antagonizes the inflammatory mediators or supplies essential hormones such as steroid hormones, insulatin-like growth factor or thyroid hormone.

Recent studies have shown that a peptide, the protein transduction domain (PTD) from HIV Tat could aid the distribution of cytoplasmic reporter proteins when administered systemically as fusion proteins or cross-linked chimeras.
