Shandwick's green PR effort slammed in book

Article Abstract:

A book written by corporate gadfly Nicky Hager and Australian environmental journalist Bob Burton has accused public relations firm Shandwick NZ of receiving millions to mastermind a media campaign in order to gain support for Timberland's plan to continue the cutting of ancient South Island beech forest. Timberland is a state-owned logging company in New Zealand. Shandwick has been accused of misrepresentation to both environmentalists and reporters, establishment of front groups, legal threats and outright lying.
