Article Abstract:
The U.S. Army will attempt a parachute airdrop of a Stryker Mobile Gun System (MGS) from an Airforce cargo plane, at Edward Air Force Base, California on August 16, 2004. Dropping an MGS from aircraft poses a major technical challenge, which are described.
