The Internet is a global computer network which has seen dramtatic growth in the past year with commercial organisations obtaining Internet connections. Access is through a host service or file server which include Delphi, Pipex, AppleTalk and Demon. Host companies offer a vast array of services at different levels including limited Internet access. Compuserve offers a broad range of services of interest to private investors.

Activity coordination and resource combining in distribution networks-implications for relationship involvement and the relationship atmosphere

Article Abstract:

Contemporary distribution network are compared and analyzed with traditional channels in terms of activity coordination, resource combining and producer-distributor relationships. It is found that power and conflict are just as important in todayEs distribution networks as they have been in traditional channels, but they are exploited in different ways than previously.

Co-operation, coordination, and specific assets in inter-organizational relationships

Article Abstract:

The concepts of cooperation, coordination and specific assets in inter-organizational relationships are examined. Results show that commitment yields the three constructs, but only cooperation and coordination can lead to satisfaction. It is also observed that trust results in cooperation, but poses a negative effect on specific assets and in turn, satisfaction.
