Several Swedish biotech startup firms including Biovitrum, Affibody, and NeuroNova organized a road show in the United States in a bid to connect with US venture capitalists looking for a syndicate partner with knowledge of the Swedish biotech scene. The Swedish government believes that such follow-on investment could pay dividends down the line that benefit not only the companies but also the taxpayers who are footing the bill with huge expectations from biotechnology.
