TELECOMMUTING: A New Frontier for Telemarketing

Article Abstract:

The concept of telecommuting or alternate work site is receiving more careful consideration by businesses. Employees working at home can substantially reduce office rental and other facility expenses. Flexible scheduling without commuting to the office may allow skilled employees to continue working even if their lifestyles have changed or they have relocated. Potential applications for telecommuting and issues to consider in establishing an alternative work site program are included.
