Revisiting thematisation in the narrative study of epilepsy
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the sociological investigation of the illness experience with the 'illness narratives' of patients with epilepsy are discussed. Research reveals a narrative detachment from the artfulness articulating their themes. What the narratives tell has never been consolidated into workable thematic categories.
