INTERVIEW: Andy Raynor took over as chief executive officer of Tenon in 2003 at a time when the company was struggling with profit warnings, a dropping share price and an identity crisis, but three years later Tenon announced a turnover of Pounds Sterling 123.6 million and a pre-tax profit of Pounds Sterling 10.5 million. Raynor and Tenon's finance director Lesley Spencer discuss how they reinvented the company and reveal some of the group's plans for the future.

Garrett and Co is a law firm which is part of Arthur Andersen and could become the biggest law firm world wide by 2007, according to American Lawyer, a journal. The company has to tackle the problem of different cultures of accountants and lawyers and convince potential clients that they should use the same firm for their accounting and legal needs. The company should benefit from the ability of Arthur Andersen to offer a uniform service world wide.
