The availability of online printing sites has provided consumers with a wider choice of printing services in every particular market. Sites such as New York, NY-based 58k.com Inc and Portland, OR-bsed Printbid.com also offer printing companies a wider market for their services. These sites allow print consumers to send an anonymous request for quotation for a specific work in a specific area and even the particular printing equipment required for a project.

Best Buy purchases two companies

Article Abstract:

Best Buy Company Inc has announced its intent to acquire Musicland Stores Corp of Minneapolis, MN, for $685 million, and Magnolia Hi-Fi Inc of Seattle, WA, for $87 million in Dec 2000. The acquisition deals are scheduled to close during the 1st qtr of 2001. In addition, the Minneapolis, MN-based retailer disclosed its plan to expand its presence in Canada by opening up to 15 stores by 2003.
