The dynamic nature of survival determinants in e - commerce

Article Abstract:

Longitudinal data on 460 e-tailers were used to test the dynamic effects of survival determinants in e-commerce. The study empirically tests Varadarajan and Yadav's theoretical framework for Internet integration into market strategy, tests the dynamic nature of factors affecting firms' survival in a duration modeling framework, and fills the gap in the order of entry effect over time.
