The market for information - evidence from finance directors, analysts and fund managers

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that fund managers prefer to use unprocessed business information rather than data analysis reports. Information analysis is crucial in the field of finance for evaluation purposes and effective data flow, however. It would seem that the analyst's role in evaluating and communicating financial data to fund managers is poorly comprehended. The work of a financial analyst also directly affects the share price.
