Over the past two years, Sega has been cleaning house. Its first signs of trouble began in 1996 when its slump was determined not to be due to the games market. Executive management has seen many changes, and the consumer games division also underwent a makeover. The company founded by American David Rosen in 1954 is struggling to survive.
