Toward the phosphoproteome
Article Abstract:
This article provides an introduction to two other articles in this issue describing recent advances in selectively modifying phosphopeptides for use in global screening of protein expressions in cells. See "A systemic approach to the analysis of protein phosphorylation" (p. 375-378) and "Enrichment analysis of phosphorylated proteins as a tool for probing the phosphoproteome" (p. 379-382).
