In vivo targeted repair of a point mutation in the canine dystrophin gene by a chimeric RNA/DNA oligonucleotide
Article Abstract:
Researchers from the U.S. and U.K. injected a chimeric RNA/DNA oligonucleotide to treat model golden retrievers suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The process will induce cell repair and correct chromosomal aberration.
