Article Abstract:

Canada's Bombardier Inc's staggering expansion of its transportation equipment business in different parts of the globe is a result of CEO Laurent Beaudoin's leadership. Beaudoin spearheadedd Bombardier's string of firm acquisitions including Austria-based Rotax, the Belgian firm BN Constructions Ferroviaires et Metalliques S.A., the French company ANF-Industrie and the British firm Procor Engineering Limited. Beaudoin relates the success of his firm to his adherence to the management principle of limiting expansion ambitions to familiar businesses.

Heroux Inc. CEO Gilles Labbe is considererd one of the dominating personalities in Canada's aircraft industry. Through Labbe's marketing strategies, Heroux Inc has become the biggest independent company to manufacture and repair hydraulic systems and landing gear for civilian and military aircrafts in North America. Heroux's commitment to become a world- class aviation company has further boosted its long term plans of entering the European and Asian market.
