Article Abstract:

Electronic data interchange (EDI) network was developed to automate purchase orders and invoices with trading partners and to reduce the costs and inefficiencies associated with handling paper. The arrival of internet-based technologies is turning the existing electronic payments systems obsolete. The feasibility of internet-based technologies over EDI network in carrying out business process for a company is examined.
