Web telephony grows up

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to analyze that Internet telephony provides about 2% to 3% of the more than 400 million telephone ports in use by business today. The implication in the corporate world is that a firm's headquarters data network can carry calls from one office to another without setting up the costly telephone infrastructure separately in each office.

Poor Planning Brings Down India's Larget Power Project

The Maharashtra State Electricity Board had agreed to buy power to be generated by Enron-promoted Dhabol Power Corporation at a significantly higher price than it paid other generators. After foreign investments of about $2 billion had been poured into the project, the Board tried to back out and Enron Corp. is suing it.
