York's strengths underscored in second public coming
Article Abstract:
Prudential Securities' analysts affirmed York International Corp's (York) advantages over its competitors in the company's second public offering. York has a technological advantage in marketing its cooling systems because of its early compliance with the regulations on the use of chlorofluorocarbons. The company is also in a position to take advantage of domestic and foreign openings as reflected in the sales of its products worldwide. York's most strategic edge is in its capacity to make every sale into a service contract. The firm as a whole is expected to earn $2.10 and $2.65 per share in 1992 and 1993.
