Finding points of reference: benchmarking staffing and recruiting activities
Article Abstract:
Benchmarking is a process that helps in establishing reference points for various business processes and making strategic planning. Analyzing a company's own business activities and comparing them with the best practices of other organizations help a company to raise the standard of its recruiting and staffing activities. Benchmarking, with an emphasis on effectiveness, is a tool for checking the performance level but is not a solution. Various steps of measurement and evaluation involved in benchmarking, staffing, and recruitment activities are discussed.
