How the work laws work for international students
Article Abstract:
The employment of foreigners present advantages as well as pitfalls for employers. While they can rely on foreiners to be hard-working and efficient, the daunting amount of paperwork and processing may cause them to discard the foreign applicants. The government has formulated many laws and regulations to protect the interests of both aliens and employers. These laws contain inconsistencies and loose ends but these should not discourage companies from exploring the potentials of foreign workers. The end result may be very rewarding for both parties.

Recruiters offer students tips on business etiquette
Article Abstract:
Some companies host lunch or dinner as part of the second interview or site visit. The National Assn. of Colleges and Employers sought the advice of recruiters on what students should do during dining. Students must make it a point to make a good impression. They should take seminars on etiquette and polite dining. They must avoid ordering alcohol and the most expensive food. Use the occasion as an opportunity to know more about the company and the corporate culture.
