'Walkin' your talk,': or moving along the road to workplace diversity
Article Abstract:
The College Placement Council will provide leadership and other necessary resources to introduce minority programs in the workplace. Affirmative action programs introduced earlier in institutions to provide real equality for all ages and racial, cultural and regional groups was unsuccessful. However, the new approach to real equality and appreciation of diversity has changed this attitude. The three factors responsible for the change are money and social cost, dependence of the majority on the work force to meet the nation's needs and the need to raise economy for domestic purposes and to meet different levels of competitors in the global market.

A charge to change
Article Abstract:
The College Placement Council (CPC) Annual has been renamed Job Choices as part of a revamp of policies with its new administration. The CPC Strategic Planning Committee is looking for alternative sources of funds for its projects so that income generation will not rely solely on Job Choices and membership dues. One change to be implemented is to publish only those advertisements of products and services that provide fundamental support and are useful to students and graduates.
