A mesoporous template route to the low-temperature preparation of efficient green light emitting Zn(sub 2)SiO(sub 4):Mn phosphors

Article Abstract:

The study carried out reports a facile route for preparing green light emitting Zn(sub 2)SiO(sub 4):Mn phosphor through a low-temperature solid-state reaction method by using mesoporous silica SBA-15 as an active template. The results strongly suggest that the route exhibits a significant advance in facilitating homogeneous doping, enhancing the luminescent properties of the Zn(sub 2)SiO(sub 4):Mn phosphor and lowering the firing temperature.

The formation of mesoporous TiO(sub 2) spheres via a facile chemical process

Article Abstract:

The mesoporous TiO(sub 2) solid and hollow spheres are synthesized through a controllable and simple chemical route. Optical adsorption investigation shows that TiO(sub 2) solid and hollow spheres possess a direct band gap structure with the optical band gap of 3.68 and 3.75 eV, respectively.
