A new regularity for internal pressure of dense fluids
Article Abstract:
A new regularity for dense fluids, both compressed liquids and dense supercritical fluids is derived based on the Lennard-Jones potential function and using speed of sound results. The linear relationship appears to hold from the lower density limit at the Boyle density and from the triple temperature up to about double the Boyle temperature.

Inverse power potentials: Virial coefficients and a general equation of state
Article Abstract:
The virial coefficients up to the seventh are calculated for pair potentials depending on inverse powers of separation, for inverse powers from 5 to 80. Details of a general equation of state that is proposed for fluids of particles interacting through inverse power pair potentials, for inverse powers greater than about 10 are discussed.

Equations of state for fluids: Empirical temperature dependence of the second virial coefficients
Article Abstract:
The studies about the second virial coefficients of pure substances predicted by equations of state for hard spheres are presented. It is observed to give excellent experimental supports for nonpolar fluids, polar fluids, heavy globular molecule fluids, and quantum fluid He-4.
