Adsorption behavior of repulsive molecules

Article Abstract:

The absorption of molecules on a one -dimensional lattice is considered for repulsive interactions between adsorbate molecules are presented. Spatial confinement and strong attraction to active sites can cause compression of an adsorbed phase and that repulsive interactions between adsorbed molecules result in steps in the adsorption isotherms.

Interstellar ice surface site modification induced by dicyanoacetylene adsorption

Article Abstract:

Original experiment results on the interactions between dicyanoacetylene, C4N2, and amorphous water ice surface are reported. The chemical stability of C4N2 adsorbed on amorphous water ice surface, model of interstellar ices is assessed.
