Advances in synthesis of optically active sulphinyl derivatives
Article Abstract:
Sulphinyl derivatives, which have a general structure XS(O)Y, are found in all living systems and are derived from proprochiral sulfurous acid or prochiral sulfinic acids. There are several ways to synthesize these compounds, but there are few for the assymetric synthesis of optically active derivatives. These synthesis methods are discussed.
