Ammonia selective oxidation on Pt(100) sites in an alkaline medium

Article Abstract:

The oxidation of ammonia on platinum surfaces is a structure sensitive reaction that takes place almost exclusively on Pt(100) sites and the dependency of the activity on different arrangements of (100) sites of platinum is reported. The findings state that the behavior confirms, the extreme sensitivity of the reaction to the different arrangement of this type of square sites.

Structure and properties of alkylammonium monolayers self-assembled on montmorillonite platelets

Article Abstract:

The structure and properties of alkyammonium monolayers self-assembled on a montmorillonite surface as well as their dependence on chain length and packing density are investigated. Alkylammonium monolayers, at ambient temperatures, assembled on montmorillonite adopt a two-dimensional state or a disordered state depending on the cross-sectional area of the molecules.

Effect of high-pressure ammonia treatment on the activity of Ge3N4 photocatalyst for overall water splitting

Article Abstract:

The photocaatalytic activity of beta-Ge3N4 powder is successfully enhanced by high-pressure ammonia treatment at 823 K for 5-23 h with ammonia pressures of 20 MPa or higher. The surface and bulk states of the treated samples changed according to the treatment temperature and treatment time.
