Conformations and dynamics of the phosphodiester backbone of a DNA fragment that bears a strong topoisomerase II cleavage site
Article Abstract:
The phosphodiester backbone of DNA for the presence of strong topoisomerase II cleavage site is investigated using molecular dynamics simulations in explicit water and in the presence of sodium ions. The proximity of phosphate group to the cleavage site renders it the cleavage specificity to topoisomerase II.

Influence of poly(ethylene glycol) molecular mass on separation and ordering in solutions of [C.sub.i][E.sub.j] nonionic surfactants: Depletion interactions and steric effects
Article Abstract:
The study of ternary mixtures of nonionic surfactants [C.sub.i][E.sub.j] (i = 12; j = 5, 6, 8) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) in water reveal that critical molecular mass of PEG is necessary to induce ordering in the surfactant-rich phase.
