Crystallization of antimony nanoparticles: Pattern formation and fractal growth
Article Abstract:
A quantitative analysis of antimony nanoparticles spontaneously formed from monodisperse Sb4 cluster on the (0001) surface of highly oriented pyrolitic graphite (HOPG) at room temperature is presented. The study concluded that the phase transition and subsequently, the deposition rate act as driving forces for the pattern formation in the system antimony on HOPG(0001).

Crystallization of silver chloride in crazed porous polymers
Article Abstract:
The formation and growth of silver chloride crystals in crazed porous polymeric matrixes of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) and polypropylene (PP) are investigated. Methods of the determination of diffusion and distribution constants for low-molecular substances polymers were suggested and a mechanism of silver chloride crystallization in porous medium was proposed.

Growth mechanisms and kinetics of trypsin crystallization
Article Abstract:
The surface morphologies of orthorhombic and trigonal crystals grown from solution by using in situ atomic force microscopy are investigated. By using periodic bond chain analysis, the observed morphology and anisotropic growth of the 2D nuclei controlled by the underlying structure are demonstrated.
